Missing Required Field

Example warning

Required field filter dropped 5 rows

Warning description

This warning happens when Polytomic observes records that do not contain an identity field, when an identity field is required.

Note: empty fields do not count. As long as the field is present on the source, the value does not matter.

Warning symptoms

None. This warning is informational: records that do not contain an identity field are dropped from a sync.

Other information

Consider reviewing the source systems for records without identity values. This error differs from "Missing or empty identity fields" in that it applies to syncs that allow empty identity values (i.e., if you use an identity field that the destination system is responsible for creating).
